PBADOA meets every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Midland Country Club. Members and guests enjoy a delicious meal and an educational teaching from a local oil and gas expert. On May 15th we were joined by Jack A. Najarian, Associate Attorney withTodd, Barron, Thomason, Hudman & Baxter, P.C.. Mr. Najarian spoke on "Division Order Laws Under the Texas Natural Resources Code". His presentation was very insightful as to the Title Attorney perspective of the Division Order laws. An update was also given on the DO law in the Texas which was being considered by the state senate. The bill still shows as pending in the Texas Legislature's website. We will relay information as it becomes available.

We had a great turn-out and presentation for our February 20th Luncheon. Our speaker, John L. Kennedy, Vice President and CFO of LPC Crude Oil did an excellent job

 presenting the topic of "Crude Oil Marketing and Transportation". Thank you Mr. Kennedy!

Our first luncheon of 2013 was a success! Cory Rylander, Senior Surface Landman with Concho Resources, spoke to our group regarding Surface Land Work. His Presentation was very informative but also entertaining. PBADOA would like to thank Mr. Rylander for accepting to speak for our group.

On Wednesday, April 18th for our April Luncheon  Greg Larson, Water Program Investigator for the Midland Region Office of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) spoke on  Environmental Programs of the TCEQ with Emphasis on Stream Monitoring Program. Mr. Larson did an excellent job in bringing light to his profession and how it relates to the Oil and Gas Industry.

Thank you for attending the February PBADOA Luncheon. We had another great turnout!  Jesse Lawson gave us a lesson on "Reservoir Engineering 101". 

His presentation was very educational and interactive, as shown by his porosity and permeability demonstration in the picture at left.  We appreciate him having taken time out on short notice to speak for us. See you all at the Seminar March 29th, 2012 at the Horseshoe Arena!  Join us back at the Petroleum Club in April for our next luncheon.

We would like to thank you all for attending the first PBADOA Luncheon of 2012. We had a great turn out, with 65 in attendance! We had the honor of having Mr. Morris Burns speak to us about the much debated topic of Hydraulic Fracturing.

His presentation was great and we appreciate him sharing his knowledge. See you all at February's Meeting!
